WINTER/SUMMER CAR TIPS

  • Scheduling a check-up could help save you money by detecting potential problems early.
  • Check that the transmission, brake, power steering, windshield washer fluids, and coolants are filled to proper levels.
  • It's also a good idea to change out your filters. During the summer and fall, contaminants can get caught in your filters and will eventually cause problems.
  • Examine your belts and hoses. Cold or Hot weather can cause these parts to become dry, hard, and brittle.
  • Have your tires checked; the pressure has likely changed with the weather. If you've been putting off that new set of tires, we highly recommend taking care of it at this time!
  • And finally, be sure to have a plan in case you do get stranded or have an unexpected problem.
  • Steve's Auto Repair can always be contacted via this website, responding the same day, usually within the same hour!
